ART 1170 Non-Silver Photography
Principles and theories of nonsilver chemical processes used for print production including gum, cyanotype, Van Dyke Brown, palladium, salt printing and wet-plate collodion process. Six studio hours per week.
Prerequisites: ART 1161
Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate innovative designs and exhibiting quality control with emphasis on editions by the creation of an effective body of work that expands the usual definition of photography.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills in the evaluation of student's final portfolio.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills in the evaluation of successful print and process competency.
