ART 1171 Studio Photography
Mechanics and aesthetics of photography in a studio environment covering a range of subjects and emphasizing lighting techniques and equipment as well as use of all camera formats and digital media. Six studio hours per week.
Prerequisites: ART 1161
Course Outcomes
- Produce a final portfolio of studio images that reflect competency in basic procedures.
- Demonstrate an understanding of lighting procedures and techniques utilized in the area of student's emphasis of study by the successful creation of a portfolio.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills in the evaluation of a final portfolio.
