Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and identify an unknown substance through a series of qualitative tests involving solubility and reaction with other substances.
- Demonstrate the ability to prepare aqueous solutions and perform necessary calculations.
- Demonstrate the ability to measure, interpret and calculate pH, equilibrium and rate constants.
- Demonstrate the ability to generate and interpret data resulting from the use of modern chemical instrumentation such as Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry, Infrared Spectroscopy, Ultraviolet/Visible Spectroscopy and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy.
