  • Perform serological procedures on microorganisms of prime medical concern
  • Perform susceptibility tests of pathogenic bacteria to antibiotics and antimetabolites
  • Perform identification procedures of protozoan and worm parasites of major medical importance
  • Demonstrate safety and quality assurance
  • Demonstrate recommended procedures for the cultivation of common and rare pathogens
  • Distinguish the culture and physiological characteristics of the pathogenic bacteria
