FST 1442 Emergency Vehicle Operator
Sixteen hour course meeting the requirements of the State of Ohio, Division of Emergency Medical Services for emergency vehicle drivers education.
Prerequisites: Other (Must have a valid motor vehicle operators license)
Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate a knowledge of State of Ohio laws governing the operations of emergency vehicles.
- Demonstrate the knowledge of the safe operation and maintenance of emergency vehicles.
- Demonstrate proficiency operating a mid-size emergency vehicle on a closed cone course through a series of stations.
