A foundation for gaining knowledge about Germanic culture and basic phrases related to simple spoken German, including travel situations.

  • Compare cultural differences using knowledge of Germanic cultural customs, exchanges and habits.
  • Apply a knowledge of basic vocabulary and simple phrases to specific contexts.
  • Respond to and use basic gestures and other linguistic features of Germanic cultures.
