HVA 1815 NCCER Sheet Metal Level 3A

This course covers commercial airside systems, principles of airflow, and using construction drawings in sheet metal. One classroom, two lab hours per week.

Prerequisites: Approval of Department

Course Outcomes
  • Describe systems, equipment, and operating sequences of commercial airside system configurations.
  • Understand basic principles of airflow and how airflow is affected by duct size, shape, and fittings.
  • Understand how to put knowledge of construction drawings and documents to work as a sheet metal fabricator or installer.
