JPN 1105 Conversational Japanese II

Develops the conversational skills to a greater degree of complexity and covering more situations. Promotes free expression in Japanese within more specific and complex cultural contents.

Course Outcomes

• Respond to and use advanced features of spoken and written Japanese language, including basic Kanji and advanced sentence structure.
• Apply culturally-appropriate idioms and understand the cultural contexts in which the language is spoken.
• Use culturally and contextually advanced vocabulary for a variety of situations.
