MAN 2110 Introduction to Project Management
Introduction to basic project management concepts, including how to scope, plan, launch, monitor, control and close a project. The course includes the Project Management Instituteâ€™s (PMI) basic knowledge areas: Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk and Procurement.
- Define the terms and identify generally-accepted principles and contemporary approaches to project management.
- Identify and define the resources, certification, and professional organization(s) that support project management activities in their geographic areas.
- Develop a personal project and write a summary report that includes lessons learned (+â€™s) and areas for change (Deltas) relating the Project Management Institutes (PMI) code of professional conduct to business projects.
