MAN 2240 Emerging Markets

This course will cover countries considered emerging markets and developing nations. Due to changing economics, the country specific foci of this course will potentially change each semester, while retaining the basic information on developing and developed country economies. The macro and micro environments of developing countries and the implications of changes in these environments will be explored through lecture and hands-on learning assignments.

Course Outcomes
  • Research micro and macro-economic factors that impact country market development and influence world events and economies
  • Develop hands-on project(s) that lead to an increased understanding of business, political, legal, and technological factors that impact developing country’s economic growth
  • Demonstrate proficiency with understanding and application of terms and principle arguments in support of emerging markets and developing economies
