MUS 1137 Men's Ensemble

The performance and presentation of choral literature written for male voices from all musical periods. The ensemble will present at least one public concert per semester.

Prerequisites: NONE

Course Outcomes
  • Rehearse and present choral music in 3 and 4-part male voice harmony.
  • Articulate correctly and accurately choral repertoire written for the male voice, employing proper vocal/choral technique and characteristic tonal color.
  • Learn the fundamentals of presenting a concert, including wearing proper attire, stage etiquette, stage presence, microphone technique, and singing in proper choral formation. Present these learned fundamentals in a public concert on and off-campus.
