MUS 1151 Concert Handbell Choir
The study and performance of handbell ensemble repertoire, ranging from classical to novelty, sacred to secular and original to transcription, as well as aspects of the preparation of a program for performance.
- Demonstrate all ringing and damping techniques necessary to proper handbell ringing.
- Rehearse and perform an assigned part(s) in a handbell choir performance, with special attention to etiquette required of ringers.
- Analyze structure and relative complexity of the handbell repertoire of the past fifty years.
