PTA 2305 Neuromuscular Rehabilitation
Therapeutic treatment interventions for the treatment of patients living with neurological conditions. One classroom, six lab hours per week.

Course Outcomes
- Students will demonstrate appropriate ethics, values, and responsibilities in the field of physical therapy when treating patients with neurological conditions at a refinement (Fall) or competent (Spring) level.
- Students will appropriately work within the plan of care established by the physical therapist in the practice of physical therapy when treating patients with neurological conditions across the lifespan at a refinement (fall) or competent (Spring) level.
- Students will demonstrate competence in implementing selected components of interventions identified in the plan of care established by the physical therapist in the field of physical therapy when treating patients with neurological conditions at a refinement (Fall) or competent (Spring) level.
- Students will demonstrate competence in performing components of data collection skills essential for carrying out the plan of care established by the physical therapist by administering tests and measures (before, during, and after interventions) when treating patients with neurological conditions across the lifespan at a refinement (fall) or competent (Spring) level.
- Students will demonstrate appropriate participation in the health care environment when treating patients with neurological conditions across the lifespan at a refinement (Fall) or competent (Spring) level.
- Students will demonstrate appropriate practice management in the field of physical therapy when treating patients with neurological conditions across the lifespan at a refinement (Fall) or competent (Spring) level.
