RET 2203 Respiratory Care Clinic IV

Apply adult, pediatric and neonatal clinical skills, including respiratory care procedures, diagnostics and mechanical ventilation within the critical care environment. Ten directed practice hours per week.

Prerequisites: RET 2101 and Restricted to Majors

Course Outcomes
  • Demonstrate proficient clinical skills by performing prescribed adult and pediatric and neonatal respiratory care procedures within the critical care environment.
  • Demonstrate proficient clinical skills by performing prescribed adult, pediatric and neonatal mechanical ventilation within the critical care environment.
  • Perform diagnostics, evaluate clinical data and modify therapy as indicated.
