SPA 1100 Conversational Spanish I

A foundation for gaining knowledge about Hispanic culture and basic phrases related to simple spoken Spanish, including travel situations.

Course Outcomes
  • Apply a knowledge of basic vocabulary and simple phrases to specific contexts.
  • Respond to and use basic gestures and other linguistic features of Hispanic cultures.
  • Compare cultural differences using knowledge of Hispanic cultural customs, exchanges and habits.
