SUT 2127 Directed Practice for Surgical Procedures II
Implements the surgical process in the operating room for OB-GYN, Genitourinary, Eye-Ear-Nose-Throat, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Vascular and Neuro surgical procedures. Eighteen directed practice hours per week.
Prerequisites: SUT 2110 and SUT 2117 and ALH 2201 and Restricted to Majors
Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate Surgical Technology skills for 0B-GYN and GU surgeries in the clinical setting.
- Demonstrate Surgical Technology skills for ENT, Opthalmology, Plastic surgeries in the clinical setting.
- Demonstrate Surgical Technology skills for Neuro and Vascular surgeries in the clinical setting.
