Basic training and practice in vocal, physical and creative processes used by the actor. One classroom, four lab hours per week.

- DEMONSTRATE ABILITY TO PERFORM BOTH SCRIPTED AND IMPROVISATIONAL WORK, INCLUDING SOLO AND ENSEMBLE PIECES.
- DEMONSTRATE SCENE WORK AND WRITTEN CHARACTER ANALYSIS.
- DEMONSTRATE USE OF VOICE/SPEECH AND BODY AWARENESS IN SCENE WORK.
