THE 1111 Acting I

Basic training and practice in vocal, physical and creative processes used by the actor. One classroom, four lab hours per week.

Course Outcomes
  • DEMONSTRATE ABILITY TO PERFORM BOTH SCRIPTED AND IMPROVISATIONAL WORK, INCLUDING SOLO AND ENSEMBLE PIECES.
  • DEMONSTRATE SCENE WORK AND WRITTEN CHARACTER ANALYSIS.
  • DEMONSTRATE USE OF VOICE/SPEECH AND BODY AWARENESS IN SCENE WORK.
