THE 1117 Lab for Stage Lighting Fundamentals
Study of theatrical lighting equipment, materials, methods and techniques. Emphasis on technical aspects of stage lighting, with and introduction to the principles of lighting design. Three lab hours per week.
Prerequisites: None
Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of and use of stage lighting paperwork as generated by a professional theatrical master electrician.
- Demonstrate knowledge and use of basic principles of stage lighting design.
- Demonstrate knowledge of and use of stage lighting equipment, including proper safety standards.
