THE 1212 Voice For The Actor
Introduces the techniques of training the voice for the stage. Designed to develop an awareness of the physical instrument through vocal production. One classroom, four lab hours per week.

Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate proper articulation and pronunciation within both classical and contemporary texts.
- Demonstrate a preliminary understanding of the International Phonetic Alphabet and how it applies to dialect study.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to apply dialect to text and performance.
