THE 2115 Movement For The Actor
Introduces the techniques of training the body for the stage. Designed to develop an awareness of the physical instrument through movement. One classroom, four lab hours per week.
Prerequisites: THE 1212 and Other (with a C or better) and Approval of Department
Course Outcomes
- Analyze movement production using anatomical terminology
- Demonstrate awareness of personal, habitual patterns of movement for the actor through classroom performances.
- Identify the principles of "Viewpointing" and demonstrate their use through classroom performance.
