THE 2240 Stage Management

An introduction to the creative and administrative work of the stage manager, including hands-on activities in learning the principles and practices of stage management. Attendance at department production rehearsals and performance required. Two classroom, two lab hours per week.

Prerequisites: THE 1105

Course Outcomes
  • Demonstrate ability to fulfill responsibilities of professional stage manager.
  • Demonstrate ability to create a prompt script for theatre department production.
  • Demonstrate ability to portray characteristics of professional stage manager.
