VIS 1250 Print Production

This course will provide the fundamentals of the various printing and design processes. It will include digital prepress techniques used to prepare layouts for the different processes used in the industry.

Prerequisites: VIS 1140

Course Outcomes
  • Implement communication skills and problem-solving techniques applicable to print production.
  • Solve a variety of prepress considerations to meet industry standards.
  • Create designs appropriate for the basic printing process being implemented.
  • Apply critical and creative thinking techniques to design projects.
