VIS 1420 Video Production
This course introduces professional production of digital video, from concept to completion, including planning, storyboarding, recording, editing, and publishing for broadcast and online use.
Prerequisites: None
Course Outcomes
- Demonstrate pre-production process including video strategy/goals, budget/scope, story selection, project timeline, script creation and production equipment needs.
- Demonstrate production including capturing elements that will be in your final video, setting up the lighting/video equipment, conducting interviews, capturing b-roll, etc.
- Demonstrate the post-production process including producing the final story, including music selection, video editing, final delivery and publishing final video for broadcast and/or online usage.
