Addressing Student Conduct Issues / Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT)

Student Judicial Affairs at Sinclair Community College is charged with upholding the Student Code of Conduct. The mission of the Sinclair Community College Student Code of Conduct is to educate students on their rights and responsibilities as college community members to facilitate an understanding of the balance between individual and college rights; and so to promote a safe and inclusive atmosphere conducive to student success.

The College established a Student Code of Conduct to ensure the safety and welfare of the Sinclair Community College community. Students admitted to the college agree to adhere to the rules, regulations, and policies set forth in the code. Students voluntarily assume the obligation to fulfill the responsibilities set forth in the handbook and to bear personal responsibility for their actions. The college has developed policies, procedures, and standards, which endeavor to protect the rights of each member of the college community.

To report a person who may be exhibiting concerning behavior, which could include, threatening, distressing, disruptive and/or disturbing, inside or outside of the classroom setting.
