AVT 2151 - UAS Operations I 3 Cr. Hr(s). This course consists of lecture, simulator instruction and flight operation demonstration specific to an unmanned aerial system (UAS). Lecture will cover topics in UAS: aerodynamic theory, operations theories and techniques, platform categories, sensors and payloads, technical documents and processes of automation. Students will observe and participate in flight operations on various UAS platforms. Two classroom, two lab hours per week. Prerequisite(s): AVT 1101 AND AVT 1104 AND AVT 2150 AND Possession of FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate required OR Possession of FAA TRUST certificate required
