CLT 2730 - Special Staining in Histology 3 Cr. Hr(s). This course will provide instruction on the use of special stains within the histology laboratory. Topics include: nuclear and cytoplasmic staining, carbohydrate and amyloid tissue, connective and muscle tissue, nerve tissue, microorganisms, pigments, minerals, and cytoplasmic granules. Two classroom, two lab hours per week. Prerequisite(s): ALH 1101 AND BIO 1121 AND CHE 1111 AND CHE 1151 AND Approval of Department Corequisite(s): CLT 2733
