ALH 4430 - Health Science Capstone/Senior Project


3 Cr. Hr(s).
The capstone course is a culminating educational experience that allows students to demonstrate and apply mastery of program outcomes and promotes the application of knowledge acquired in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Sciences degree curriculum with previous knowledge and experience to identify and implement a scholarly project. The project must address the analysis of, and strategies to address improvements in, community and global health, leadership/management, and/or educational practices with the assessment of one’s knowledge and experience regarding the healthcare professional’s role in healthcare settings. One classroom, fourteen practicum hours per week.
Prerequisite(s): Must have associate degree in healthcare AND Completion of 3 or more credits in 4000-level course (minimum of one concentration course) AND Restricted to majors
