The Associate of Science in Biology is designed for students who are planning to transfer to a four-year college or university and pursue a baccalaureate degree in biology. The curriculum fulfills the freshman and sophomore requirements of most colleges and universities. The biology courses offer a solid foundation in key areas of biology such as cell biology, genetics, evolution, and ecology with a broad survey of life on Earth including microbiology. As part of this degree program, students must complete the requirements of the Ohio Transfer 36 to graduate.
