Students learn advanced applications in geographical information system software, ArcGIS; C++ software programming skills; how to design and implement websites for internet delivery of data; design and administer relational databases; query databases using SQL.

Career Opportunities

Graduates of this certificate will be able to build upon already existing programming skills to find employment in government and within private industry employing computer programmers with general GIS skills and knowledge such as: Database Developer or Software Applications Programmer.
