ALH 1123 - Pharmacy Technician II 5 Cr. Hr(s). This course is the second of two core courses in the Pharmacy Technician Program and will continue to help prepare students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam. Course content will continue to include the duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy technician, as well as the mathematical components and the pharmacology foundations necessary to become a successful pharmacy technician. Additional skills learned will include sterile compounding, non-sterile compounding and inventory control. Course contains a simulated directed practice. Prerequisite(s): ALH 1122 AND (MAT 1130 OR MAT 1445 ) with a grade of C or better in ALH 1122 or Permission of instructor if repeating ALH 1123 AND Must possess a high school equivalency certificate or a high school diploma, be 18 years or older, demonstrate English language proficiency (including reading, writing, and speaking)
